This is a song dedicated to 30 Seconds To Mars (one of my greatest inspirations) and The Echelon.
This song is about accepting the fact that, yes, things in your life may seem terrible, and the whole world may be out to get you. But no matter what, there is that spark inside all of us, no matter how small, that will inspire us to get up and fight for what we believe in until we get through the rough times (the "night").
lyrics
I don't mind the cold
As it chills my bones,
'Cause I know the sun's still alive.
I don't mind the wind
As it sheds my skin,
'Cause I know I'll survive
This darkness, this night.
There's a spark in me, so I will fight.
I will fight till the night
Is over.
There's a light to ignite
The fire
Inside my lungs,
Inside my soul.
Oh, to get back what the cowards stole,
I will fight till the night
Is over.
I say that I'm done,
That the monsters have won;
But what if the monster is me?
Even the moon doesn't know
How brightly it glows
Until he sees his reflection in the sea
In this darkness, this night.
There's a spark in me, so I will fight.
I will fight till the night
Is over.
There's a light to ignite
The fire
Inside my lungs,
Inside my soul.
Oh, to get back what the cowards stole,
I will fight till the night
Is over.
'Cause this is not over,
The fading dream inside.
You've got to be your own savior
When all the heroes have died.
Find the dreamer inside you,
Find the believer inside you.
Find the dreamer inside you,
Find the believer inside you.
We will fight,
We will fight.
We will fight till the night
Is over.
There's a light to ignite
The fire
Inside our lungs,
Inside our souls.
Oh, to get back what the cowards stole,
We will fight till the night
Is over.
